Grassroots journalism, infrastructure grade.
Daha India reports on districts that most newsrooms can't cover. They needed a reporting platform that would work on 2G edge towers, survive power cuts, and give the desk in Delhi a calm place to edit.
Problem
Reporters across 200+ districts were filing over WhatsApp. Nothing searchable, nothing versioned, nothing safe.
What we built
An offline-first PWA (React + service workers), Cloudflare Workers for edge ingestion, D1 for storage, and an editorial dashboard built with Astro.
Outcome
3,400+ stories filed. 99.92% uptime over 4 years. Zero data-loss incidents. The platform has quietly become infrastructure for their entire editorial operation.
